Cloud Strife is the main hero character as ex-Soldier (Elite Warrior of Shinra Electric Power Company that use MAKO as energy source but harm the planet), arrives in Midgar City as mercenaries hired by AVALANCHE (Resistant to save the planet) under her childhood friend Tifa Lockhart. As long the game story and play, Cloud and Tifa will also meet others heroes such as Barret Wallace, Aerith Gainsborough, and Red XIII, to fight against Shinra and Sephiroth that want to destroy the Planet.
