Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is set in different universe than the two previous games. Thanos and his Black Order trying to collect the six Infinity Stones in order to achieve galactic conquest.
S.H.I.E.L.D. detects their intention, unites with the Guardians and Earth's heroes to prevent them. Together they are able to secure the Time Stone, the Mind Stone, the Power Stone, the Reality Stone, the Space Stone and the Soul Stone (all Six Infinity Stones). All The heroes confirm that they will be ready when Thanos ever return and they agree to separate the Infinity Stones, hiding them in distant corners of the universe for safe keeping.
