Road to Boruto is set 15 years after the Fourth Ninja War, story of the next generation Ninja in Naruto Shippuden series. Boruto Uzumaki is a young ninja son of Naruto Uzumaki, he is in training with his teammates Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki under the teaher of Konohamaru Sarutobi. The Konoha village enjoys peace after Akatsuki's defeated by Ninja Alliance, but Boruto is annoyed by how his father Naruto Uzumaki is very busy with the leading it as Hokage and lack attention to his family to the point to forget his younger sister Himawari Uzumaki's birthday.Start scene we play as an adult Sasuke Uchiha (father of Sarada Uchiha) fighting two ninja enemies, Sasuke informs Naruto of the two Otsutsuki ninjas that he defeated. After several encounters and fighting with Boruto, Sasuke becomes his new teacher for Ninja Examination. But Momoshiki and Kinshiki invade Konohagakure during a ninja examination where Boruto being found out in using cheat tools to improve his cakra power to win the Ninja Examination, this makes Naruto angry and disappointed. While on the invasion of Momoshiki and Kinshiki, Naruto allows himself to be kidnapped by them in order to protect the village. Sasuke immidiately gathers all leaders and Boruto to rescue Naruto. The rescue mission is a successful and Momoshiki and Kinshiki are defeated by the combination efforts of Naruto, Sasuke and Boruto.
